Colorado Treasurer Dave Young Statement on Congressman Ed Perlmutter Retirement
“I want to thank Congressman Ed Perlmutter for his decades of service to Colorado and the country. Coloradans of District 7 were fortunate to have such a strong advocate and true friend as their Representative for 16 years, as were those living in state Senate District 20 for eight years. When he retires at the end of his term, Congress, his constituents, and the country will deeply miss his passionate and powerful voice for working families in the House. I’m confident he’ll continue to be involved in charting Colorado’s path and look forward to working with Congressman Perlmutter in the future.”
