Accessibility Statement

Our goal is for everyone in Colorado to easily access our resources and services. As with other state government departments, we understand that some people may need documents and information in different formats. We are dedicated to making necessary adjustments so everyone can get the information they need.

Website Requests

The Department of Treasury’s digital accessibility effort works toward being in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, level A/AA criteria. These guidelines not only help make web content accessible to users with sensory, cognitive, and mobility disabilities, but ultimately to all users.

We welcome comments on how to improve our website’s accessibility for users. If you have a request or feedback, please email our accessibility inbox (cst_accessibility@state.co.us) or call us at 303-866-2441.

The phone line and inbox will be checked regularly for accommodation requests. The Department will respond to requests as soon as possible within three business days.

Document Requests

Not all documents and pages on our website are currently accessible. If you encounter a document that needs remediation, please email our accessibility inbox (cst_accessibility@state.co.us) or call us at 303-866-2441.

The phone line and inbox will be checked regularly for document requests. The Department will respond to requests as soon as possible within three business days.

Programs, Services, and Activity Requests

The Department of Treasury is committed to providing an accessible experience to members of the public and employees interacting with any of the Department’s programs or services. As part of this commitment, the Department will provide individuals who have a disability with reasonable accommodations.

Examples of reasonable accommodations include:

  • Sign language interpretation for an event, meeting, or appointment
  • Alternative document formats (such as Braille or large print)
  • Remediating PDFs and documents

Accommodations are provided at no cost. Requests that impose an undue financial or administrative burden on state agencies may not be fulfilled as requested.

If you need accommodations, please email our accessibility inbox (cst_accessibility@state.co.us) or call us at 303-866-2441, preferably seven days before the event.
